We’re a small team that loves what we do.

That is, we love Muskoka, we love paint and lighting, and we love to help our customers. Helping people get to the end of their project, helping them take their inspiration and realize it really makes us excited too. We see our job as helping our clients, in Muskoka and beyond, fulfill the promise of their vision.

Our owner-operator, Lindsay Rouse, first joined Colour ‘N Light Muskoka in 2016 as an employee with a heap of enthusiasm, a passion for colour, and a background of retail and design-related professional experience. Lindsay rode the learning curve and soon discovered she had a real talent for the paint and lighting business unique to Muskoka, and the designer’s touch when it came to envisioning how colour and light could make almost any space look and feel extraordinary. Over time, she developed strong relationships with Muskoka’s community of homeowners, cottagers, and contractors. When she had the opportunity to buy the business, Lindsay and her husband, Dave, took the leap. And here we are today.

We serve paint, lighting, and décor clientele from Huntsville to Bala to Gravenhurst, and beyond. Whether you’re a student in Port Carling looking to paint your first apartment or a cottager from Bracebridge looking for lighting options, our doors are open and we’re eager to talk to you. We’re open year-round with locations in Gravenhurst and Bracebridge to serve four-season Muskokans, seasonal cottagers, contractors, and people passing through Muskoka. Our customer is typically the person who appreciates that little bit of extra product knowledge and that little bit of extra customer service. They want to leave knowing that the product they’re getting is the right one for their project, and we want that too.

Colour ‘N Light is proud to be an independent Muskoka dealer of Benjamin Moore paints and coatings.
